Kickboxing Techniques
Kickboxing Techniques
Over the course of your training you will learn many different kickboxing techniques. Front kicks, push kicks and turning kicks are standards for every class and we will also teach you basic punches such as jabs, crosses and hooks to get you started.
In our fitness kickboxing sessions we do not use our elbows at all and train knee strikes less than a traditional Thai Kickboxing school.

Kickboxing Techniques
Our main goal is to keep your heart rate up and pumping to increase your fitness and stamina. When praticing Kickboxing Techniques for the first few weeks we recommend starting off at about 70% of the intensity that you are capable of for about 30 minutes. Then for the last 15 minutes push yourself harder so that at the end of your Kickboxing Melbourne session you have really worked up a sweat.
Over the coming months you train with maximum effort earlier in the class until eventually you can go strong right from the start, giving it your all for the full 45 minute session. As we say.......play it smart from the start.
